Map Distortion Examples

Below are maps with Tissot indicatries overlayed. These are intended to show what happens when maps of incorrect proportions are used with Map to Globe. The red ellipses should appear as perfect circles on the globe if the map is an equirectangular projection (indicating that there is no distortion at that point on the map). For non-equirectangular maps, notice how the red ellipses are not perfect circles on the globe (showing that the map is distorted at that point).
